We develop science-based escape rooms that combine logic, storytelling and immersion to create a unique learning experience. A good science escape room thrives on clear dramaturgy: an exciting narrative that guides players through the room, credible characters and puzzles that are meaningfully embedded in the plot. Science is not presented as a block of information, but can be experienced through tasks – such as decoding genetic codes, reconstructing physical processes or combining evidence.

We make sure that all puzzles can be solved logically, appeal to a broad spectrum of skills, and allow for different team roles. At the same time, we ensure that the level of difficulty is appropriate for the target audience – whether school classes, conference audiences, or specialist communities. Through test runs, we optimise the dramaturgy, game balance, and user guidance until a well-rounded, motivating flow is achieved.
