Forest Thinking Path

As part of a forest conservation project at TU Darmstadt, we worked with the departments of linguistics, biology and political science to develop a forest nature trail. Unlike traditional nature trails, the aim was not just to impart knowledge, but to create a deeper understanding of the various functions of forests. Under the title "My forest. Your forest. Our Forest." various forest use profiles were developed and a questionnaire was jointly compiled based on these roles. In the style of a classic "Bravo quiz," visitors to the Darmstadt West Forest and the Alsbach Forest can now learn about their forest type.
